How did you find out about The Munro Centre?

Thank you for your interest in joining The Munro Centre waiting list.
We care and educate children up to 52 children aged 6 weeks to PreKindy. We do not offer a Kindergarten Program. We do have a formal arrangement with Campus Kindergarten, who gives Munro children whose parents work or study at UQ, priority. Although we don’t have a minimum number of days your child attends the centre, we do encourage more than one day in order for your child to settle better. We also ask that you choose a Monday or Friday as part of your child’ days.
Once we have received your waiting list form that has been filled out completely and fee has been paid, we process your information, send you a receipt and your child will be on our waiting list. A non-refundable Administration Fee of $25 (GST inclusive) applies. This is to be deposited directly into the Centre’s bank account – Commonwealth Bank - Account No. 1092 9625 BSB 064 158 “The Munro Centre Inc” ( please ensure your name is in the details).
As our centre building is owned by the University of Queensland, we do give priority to University staff and students. It is because of this that we ask you to provide us with your UQ student or staff identification number. Non-UQ enrolments are still offered when vacancies arise (this is at the discretion of the Centre Director).
Please be aware that submitting a Waiting List application, doesn’t guarantee you a position at the centre.
The Munro Centre only accepts children who are fully immunised, on a catch up immunisation schedule or children with medical contradictions or natural immunity, which is certified by a General Practitioner.
We email families with a letter of offer, once a position becomes available. These offers are time sensitive, so please ensure you reply within the required time period, otherwise we will presume you no longer require care and offer the place to another family.
